On Various Types of PUMPS -
The PIPEGUARD PLAS. range by PULSEGUARD
Protect your pumps Guard Against Pulsation
PVC and Poly Propylene etc. damper pressure vessels are offered only for liquid compatibility reasons.
For safety reasons they are often more expensive to produce than PipeGuard LP Stainless dampers.

Whatever your pipe system type,
PULSATION PREVENTION
Pumps discharge liquid without having to instantly accelerate all the liquid in the pipe.
1.) PipeGuard TW/Soc., with Twin sockets 2.) PipeGuard TW/NPT, with Twin FNPT
3.) PipeGuard + Flg, with Flange added 4.) PipeGuard/RF, with integral Raised Face
3.) "Pig/Plas+Flag" & Hose Pumps
Non standard extra price non inventory single connection damper, only 30% as efficient as a twin connection flow-through.
No In place flushability.
2.) LP Dosing pumps & "Pig/Plas/TW FNPT" in place flushable
Catching the spike when the cam slaps the piston, or the solenoid fires the diaphragm, is achieved with greatest efficiency by in line flow through.
Twin connection is standard inventory and lowest cost. If you want to "T" off line, use the second connection for RV or drain.
1.) "Pig/Plas/TW Soc"
in place flushable & AODDs
Double ended diaphragm pumps often need help on the suction side, because changeover from stroking one way to the other is near instantaneous.
Flow through enables instant supply, without loss of prime, because there is pause for a flow reversal to occur in a single dead leg.4.) "Pig/Plas/RF and Progressive Cavity pumps
At least there is a short straight line from the pump to the guts of the damper. Ensuring that the damper is half as efficient as a Flow Through.
No In place Flushability. For connection sizes from 2" (50mm) through 12" (300mm) flow through please see 5.) PUG/_/_/ the PUMPGUARD range.
